Functions

We advise MAP-researchers in the Cluster of Excellence in design, development, and construction of complex mechanical and mechatronical systems:

• Consulting in technical questions

• Conception and development of technical systems

• Calculation and construction of mechanical systems and their components

• Providing of the necessary mechanical components

• Attendance during the production phase in the in-house workshop or external suppliers

• Support in the installation and assembling phase

• Documentation of our projects.

Electronical and mechanical workshops

Equipment for fundamental research is in most of the cases not to be sold on the market. A lot of the required tools are either not existing or only in parts, because they are planned for another application. The MAP Servicecenter is therefore charged to provide the cluster with all required tools.
